I am honored to say that for the past four years I’ve been a part of the best automotive event in Florida. In its tenth year, the Celebration Exotic Car Festival reigns supreme, offering everything from two track days at the world’s most famous racing circuit (Daytona), a world-class concours style car show, one of Orlando, Florida’s premiere VIP parties, and a blisteringly fast road rally through the countryside. Sarasota Cars & Coffee – April 2013

As our monthly Cars & Coffee meets have been getting bigger and bigger we had a nice little treat this month. The Suncoast British Car Club sent us an email saying we will be invaded by the British for the April meet. They rolled into Suncoast Motorsports with over 20 little British cars and helped us break our attendance record with an amazing 87 cars. Guests saw everything from a Lingenfelter supercharged Corvette Grand Sport to a Porsche Carrera GT and even a 1,000 horsepower Toyota Supra Turbo. And as always at Suncoast, Panera bagels and Starbucks coffee keeps everyone happy.

Porsches in the Park 2012

On December 15, 2012 Suncoast Motorsports hosted their annual “Porsches in the Park” car show at St. Armand’s Circle in Sarasota, Florida. A free-of-charge event for all Porsche owners brought out over 100 of Stuttgart’s finest creations. 2013 SECF Kickoff Party

The kickoff party for the 2013 SECF was held at Lamborghini Sarasota where the brand new facelifted 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 was unveiled. Guests enjoyed drinks, hor d’oeuvres, a live band and a stunning display of the area’s upper echelon of exotic cars.

Holiday Toy Run 2012

Peter Tromboni PhotographyOn December 1, 2012 Suncoast Motorsports in Sarasota, Florida hosted the 2012 Holiday Toy Run, with all proceeds going to the Toys for Tots foundation. The event kicked off with the monthly Cars & Coffee meet, followed by a spirited 80-mile road rally through the countryside, and arrived back at Suncoast for a cookout. Over 50 cars attended Cars & Coffee in the morning and 36 cars made the journey on the traffic-free roads in East Sarasota County.

An entire pallet box was overflowing with toy donations and a check for $350 was presented to the Toys for Tots foundation. Thank you to everyone who donated and participated. We’ll see you all next year! Continue reading →

Orlando Supercar Run

The annual Orlando Supercar run departed from Lamborghini Palm Beach and headed West to the Portofino Resort Hotel in Orlando, Florida. About 25 cars made the journey for an overnight stay at the beautiful resort across the street from Universal Studios. My camera car was a gorgeous Maserati Gran Turismo Convertible. As a media photographer for the Sarasota Exotic Car Festival I get access to some very special cars, such as this Porsche Carrera GT, which was shot on the runway at SRQ Airport. As one of just two white CGT’s in the United States it’s always a treat to see it in person.

This photo was shot at the Start/Finish Line at Daytona International Speedway during the Celebration Exotic Car Festival. Larry was having a blast out there in his Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. I was fortunate enough to ride along as a passenger with Larry for a few laps. There’s nothing quite like hitting the high banks of Daytona in an open-top Lamborghini.

 

Luxury4Play | goldRush Rally 4

On Saturday June 16, 2012 Luxury4Play’s week long automotive journey hit beautiful Tampa Bay and duPont Registry’s monthly Cars & Coffee gathering. The goldRush Rally, celebrating 4 years of chaos, brought out the big guns this year. The infamous L4P/Platinum Motorsports matte white Bugatti Veyron was accompanied by two more Bugattis, along with Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, Rolls Royces, Bentleys, McLarens, and a wide array of exotic cars all stickered up in gold decals.

Photoshoot: Audi R8 5.2 FSI

I was looking to end 2011 on a high note and scheduled a beautiful Audi R8 5.2 FSI for a quick shoot overlooking Sarasota Bay. This V10 model had just been fitted with a custom built ART exhaust and it sounded fantastic. A very special thanks goes out to my friend Cory for bringing it out.
