It has gotten rather difficult to continually explain the emotions that I feel while working alongside my good friend Brian Guy, owner of AOWheels, Florida’s premiere paint correction specialist. After photographing his amazing craftsmanship on an Aston Martin DBS, a BMW Z8, the iconic Ferrari F40, and most recently one of the most desirable hypercars on the planet, I can honestly say I’m one of the luckiest photographers and car enthusiasts in the world. The Ferrari Enzo is a vehicle of epic proportions. From its Formula 1 inspired racing technology, to its 651 horsepower V12 engine, to its styling, exclusivity, and price tag, the Enzo is one of Ferrari’s most prized creations. At the time the Enzo was unveiled to the public the world had never seen such a car. It was, and still is, an automotive marvel. This particular exampled is owned by a good friend of ours who was kind enough to offer me a ride and a private photoshoot after the conclusion of Brian’s work. Unforgettable would be an understatement.
Only 12 of these machines are residing in the United States finished in Ferrari’s Nero paint, and just 6 of those 12 cars have black leather inside the cockpit. With that type of rarity it’s no wonder why the current market value of a black Enzo is roughly $1.5 million.
