In its tenth year, the Celebration Exotic Car Festival reigns supreme, offering everything from two track days at the world’s most famous racing circuit (Daytona), a world-class concours style car show, one of Orlando, Florida’s premiere VIP parties, and a blisteringly fast road rally through the countryside. Sarasota Cars & Coffee – April 2013

As our monthly Cars & Coffee meets have been getting bigger and bigger we had a nice little treat this month. The Suncoast British Car Club sent us an email saying we will be invaded by the British for the April meet. They rolled into Suncoast Motorsports with over 20 little British cars and helped us break our attendance record with an amazing 87 cars. Guests saw everything from a Lingenfelter supercharged Corvette Grand Sport to a Porsche Carrera GT and even a 1,000 horsepower Toyota Supra Turbo. And as always at Suncoast, Panera bagels and Starbucks coffee keeps everyone happy.

Photoshoot: Vorsteiner Equipped Porsche 991 Carrera S Cabriolet

It’s never a bad thing when I get the opportunity to take a brand new Porsche out for a private photoshoot. It’s also not a bad thing when one of my sponsors happens to be the number one Porsche Parts and Accessories wholesaler in the United States. Case in point: A 2013 Porsche 991 Carrera S Cabriolet fitted with a full carbon fiber Vorsteiner V-GT Aero Package.

Porsches in the Park 2012

On December 15, 2012 Suncoast Motorsports hosted their annual “Porsches in the Park” car show at St. Armand’s Circle in Sarasota, Florida. A free-of-charge event for all Porsche owners brought out over 100 of Stuttgart’s finest creations. Everything from vintage 356′s to the latest and greatest GT3 RS models were on display for auto enthusiasts to enjoy. Continue reading →

Holiday Toy Run 2012

Peter Tromboni PhotographyOn December 1, 2012 Suncoast Motorsports in Sarasota, Florida hosted the 2012 Holiday Toy Run, with all proceeds going to the Toys for Tots foundation. The event kicked off with the monthly Cars & Coffee meet, followed by a spirited 80-mile road rally through the countryside, and arrived back at Suncoast for a cookout. Over 50 cars attended Cars & Coffee in the morning and 36 cars made the journey on the traffic-free roads in East Sarasota County.

An entire pallet box was overflowing with toy donations and a check for $350 was presented to the Toys for Tots foundation. Thank you to everyone who donated and participated. We’ll see you all next year! Continue reading →

Photoshoot: 2013 Porsche 991 Carrera S

After a charity car show I attended with one of my sponsors, Suncoast Motorsports in Sarasota, Florida, I had the opportunity to take a 2013 Porsche 991 Carrera S out for some photos. This car was fitted with a factory Aerokit and a 7-speed PDK transmission with Launch Control. I brought it down to one of my favorite locations with just enough light left to get a few shots in.

Ferrari Challenge 2012: Homestead-Miami Speedway

Just as I did a year ago at the 2011 Ferrari Challenge event in South Florida I was on hand as a media photographer shooting exclusively for Teamspeed.com. The day started out at The Collection for breakfast with a tasty lineup of beautiful Ferraris. We departed on a police escorted caravan to the race track for hours of fun out on the road course. A catered lunch before the Challenge race kept everyone refreshed during the day. Over 100 street cars and twenty 458 Challenge race cars attended the event. Continue reading →

2012 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance Teamspeed.com Exclusive

Peter Tromboni PhotographyFor the second consecutive year I was fortunate enough to photograph the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance for Teamspeed.com. This year was particularly special as it was the Ferrari 250 GTO reunion. 12 GTO’s valued from $10-$30 million each were displayed on the greens of the Ritz-Carlton Resort in Amelia Island, Florida. In my eyes the Ferrari 250 GTO has long been the most beautiful automobile ever designed and I was honored to be in attendance.

The show field was amazing this year with the winner of Best of Show Concours d’Elegance going to a 1938 Bugatti Type 57C from the Off Brothers Collection of Richland, Michigan and Best of Show Concours de Sport was awarded to the coveted 1962 Ferrari 330 LM / GTO owned by Jim Jaeger, one of the first two four-liter GTOs built by the Ferrari factory.
