As our monthly Cars & Coffee meets have been getting bigger and bigger we had a nice little treat this month. The Suncoast British Car Club sent us an email saying we will be invaded by the British for the April meet. They rolled into Suncoast Motorsports with over 20 little British cars and helped us break our attendance record with an amazing 87 cars. Guests saw everything from a Lingenfelter supercharged Corvette Grand Sport to a Porsche Carrera GT and even a 1,000 horsepower Toyota Supra Turbo. And as always at Suncoast, Panera bagels and Starbucks coffee keeps everyone happy.

It’s been a little while since I’ve updated this site. After dealing with massive computer failure, a move into a new apartment, all of the holidays, and the fantastic news that a baby is on the way, I kind of let my site get away from me.
My computer suffered some catastrophic failure and was down for about a month so I’m combining the photos from Sarasota’s very own Cars & Coffee from September and October. With each and every month we’re seeing new faces and new wheels. It’s always nice to have more people join us be welcomed by the regulars. Following the October meet we went on a short cruise along beautiful Siesta Key in Sarasota, which happens to be the #1 rated beach in the United States for 2011. Just four cars joined us this time; a gorgeous red Ferrari 360 Spider, a loud and mean Ford GT, a sleek Audi R8 V10, and a genuine right-hand drive Nissan Skyline R33. Thanks to Jason, Andy, Chris and Cory, and Derek for coming along.
The July edition of Sarasota Cars & Coffee didn’t start off quite as planned as we woke up to rain, thunder, and lightning over 4th of July weekend. That didn’t stop the true enthusiasts from heading down to Suncoast Porsche and enjoying their Saturday morning. Our second meet wasn’t as large as our first meet, understandable considering the weather, but the array of cars was nothing short of amazing. Ferrari’s, Lamborghini’s, a Ford GT, and a blown Shelby GT500 were a few of the notable attendees. It was also a nice treat to see a very rare Jaguar XJ220 in the service drive. The following photos were shot for one of my partners and featured on their homepage. Check out
I took the initiative to organize a monthly Cars & Coffee event for my hometown, Sarasota, Florida. I’ve been to a few different C&C meets in Florida and they are always a hit. We have so many exotic and sports cars in our area that I made it a goal to get one started when I moved back to Sarasota.
I started attending the Orlando Cars & Café meets back in March 2010. Hosted by the Orlando Automotive Club and Café Motorsport, this is a monthly meet where automotive enthusiasts come together to share their passion and excitement for cars of all makes and models. I’ve met some great people and have seen some breathtaking cars the few times I have gone. The following photos are a compilation of past times I’ve attended the Orlando Cars & Café meets.
