2013 Celebration Exotic Car Festival

Peter Tromboni Photography

I am honored to say that for the past four years I’ve been a part of the best automotive event in Florida. In its tenth year, the Celebration Exotic Car Festival reigns supreme, offering everything from two track days at the world’s most famous racing circuit (Daytona), a world-class concours style car show, one of Orlando, Florida’s premiere VIP parties, and a blisteringly fast road rally through the countryside. I’ve been donating my services as a media photographer since 2010 and this year was the best yet. Continue reading

2012 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance Teamspeed.com Exclusive

Peter Tromboni PhotographyFor the second consecutive year I was fortunate enough to photograph the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance for Teamspeed.com. This year was particularly special as it was the Ferrari 250 GTO reunion. 12 GTO’s valued from $10-$30 million each were displayed on the greens of the Ritz-Carlton Resort in Amelia Island, Florida. In my eyes the Ferrari 250 GTO has long been the most beautiful automobile ever designed and I was honored to be in attendance.

The show field was amazing this year with the winner of Best of Show Concours d’Elegance going to a 1938 Bugatti Type 57C from the Off Brothers Collection of Richland, Michigan and Best of Show Concours de Sport was awarded to the coveted 1962 Ferrari 330 LM / GTO owned by Jim Jaeger, one of the first two four-liter GTOs built by the Ferrari factory. Festivals of Speed Orlando – Jet Port Reception

A massive rain storm all weekend long couldn’t entirely shut down the 2011 Festivals of Speed Orlando. Although the main concours show on Sunday was rescheduled to November 13th, the Friday night Jet Port Reception party went ahead as planned. Million dollar supercars, private jets, a silent auction, and Orlando’s finest restaurants were all featured inside a hangar at Galaxy Aviation. A few very special cars were also on hand for everyone to drool over. Lamborghini’s newest creation, the LP700-4 Aventador, was there with doors wide open, a rare Gemballa Mirage GT based off a Porsche Carrera GT, the ridiculously fast Hennessey Venom GT, Sebastian Vettel’s Red Bull Formula 1 racer, and one of only two carbon fiber Koenigsegg CCX-R Special Editions in the world, which happens to be the very same one shown in the Fast Five motion picture, were all in attendance. Tickets for the 6th Annual Festivals of Speed Orlando Motorsports Collection & Display at the Ritz Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes are still available. You can purchase your tickets online at the Festivals of Speed website.

Preview: Festivals of Speed Orlando

There are very few automotive events in the state of Florida that do things quite as big as the Festivals of Speed. FOS Founder and President Joe Sabatini has been putting on weekend-long masterpieces from 2004 and currently runs 4 events per year in Florida. The events include Jet Port Reception parties in private airport hangars, golf tournaments, wine connoisseurs’ dinners, and a motorsports collection and luxury lifestyle display featuring some of the rarest and most expensive cars on the planet. I’ve been fortunate enough to attend these events in Miami, Orlando, and St. Petersburg, and I’ll be in attendance again at the 2011 Festivals of Speed Orlando from October 7-9 at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes Resort Hotel.

2011 CECF – Jet Port Reception

2011 Celebration Exotic Car FestivalCelebration Exotic Car Festival -It’s been a whole year since I attended my first Celebration Exotic Car Festival in 2010. Last April I went to the Sebring trackday with my father and then to the Saturday exotic car show with a friend of mine. I knew that this year I couldn’t miss it and I had to do something to be a part of the whole event. Donating my services for 3 full days I was on hand as a media photographer for the entire weekend. I shot at Sebring International Raceway on Friday April 8th, the Concours show and Jet Port Reception party on Saturday April 9th, and concluded with the 111 mile exotic car Road Rally and catered lunch at Disney World’s Beach Club Resort on Sunday April 10th. The following images are a compilation from the Jet Port Reception Party at a private airport in Orlando, Florida. High resolution prints are available from everything you see.

2011 St. Pete Festivals of Speed

Once again I was able to shoot the Festivals of Speed in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is the second time I’ve been to the St. Pete FOS and this year was even better than last year. The Festivals of Speed luxury lifestyle weekends are Florida born and are held at four locations throughout the Sunshine State: Miami, Orlando, St. Pete, and the new-for-2011 Mansion Inn location. If you get the chance, I highly recommend checking them out. My photos were provided for ExoticsAndLuxury.com. Check us out on the web!

2011 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance

I was on hand at this year’s Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance shooting for my colleague Teamspeed.com. The show was held on the grounds of the wonderful Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island and the whole weekend was fantastic. The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is a show that features some of the rarest and most exclusive classic and vintage cars in the world. For instance, the last ever built Shelby Cobra 427 , valued in the multi-millions of dollars, was proudly on display for guests to see. I’m looking forward to attending again in 2012.
