I was on hand at this year’s Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance shooting for my colleague Teamspeed.com. The show was held on the grounds of the wonderful Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island and the whole weekend was fantastic. The Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance is a show that features some of the rarest and most exclusive classic and vintage cars in the world. For instance, the last ever built Shelby Cobra 427 , valued in the multi-millions of dollars, was proudly on display for guests to see. I’m looking forward to attending again in 2012.
I met up with a long time friend to shoot his Passion Red Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R. We hit a few locations around beautiful Sarasota, Florida including Siesta Key Beach and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. This is the first motorcycle I’ve had the opportunity to photograph and I had a great time. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a two-wheeled missile powered by a 600cc inline 4-cylinder engine making 101 horsepower at the rear wheel. With a dry weight of only 401 lbs this bike is capable of 0-60mph sprints in 3 seconds flat.
